Junior Ambassadors Day 2014

The Junior Ambassadors day began at noon on Tuesday August 5, 2014 with a fun filled time at The Gem Theatre. They arrived to watch the Guardians of the Galaxy but were surprised first with an all-out, full blown, ULTIMATE POPCORN FIGHT against RJ 🙂 RJ WON 🙂 Then the Junior Ambassadors and I went to the snack bar and got yummy popcorn and a drink each 🙂 Then off to the movie….Guardians of the Galaxy 🙂 RJ announced the 2014 Sutton Fair Junior Ambassadors to all the audience just before the movie. The movie was great and everyone had a GREAT TIME!!!

Then off to the Belridge Farm that Bart Johnson was so very kind to offer to me to bring my Junior Ambassadors to spend the remainder of a beautiful afternoon at. Upon arriving, all the Junior Ambassadors and I meet with Bart Johnson and his son Greg. The 2014 Junior Ambassadors were guided on a fabulous Fun Farm Tour with milking cows, calves and even a saw a newborn calve stand up for the first time 🙂 They gobbled at some turkeys, played with two great dogs, checked out hay bales, corn crops, farm equipment…especially the Tractors because it is the year of the tractor at the 159 Sutton Fair.

I wish to sincerely thank the Sutton Fair for giving me this great opportunity to now be the Sutton Fair Junior Ambassador Program Coordinator. I’d like to honourably mention Tannis Pegg who for many years has been the Coordinator of the Sutton Fair Ambassador Program and done a tremendous job! Tannis’ metaphorical shoes I hope to be able to fill as well as she did, to do honour to the Sutton Fair and all the future Junior Ambassador Participants and Georgina!

I strongly encourage future generations of youth to participate at all levels and proudly represent The Sutton Fair & Georgina.

This year I am happy to have been able to make a few changes and now provide a fun filled day prior to the competition for the Junior Ambassador participants to fully enjoy and cherish, as part of the entire Junior Ambassador Program experience. I have also added the opportunity of Junior Ambassador Sponsorships to add more support to the Junior Ambassador Program and it’s participants and acknowledge local sponsorship support. I have modified some of the Sutton Fair Junior Ambassador Program to further strongly encourage all future youth to participate, no matter ones challenges.

I wish to continue to improve the Ambassador Program and increase the number of Junior Participants and provide a truly happy experience for all, that will forever be cherished and be shared by generations and encourage junior participants forward to the Senior Junior Program also. I look forward next year to working together with The Sutton Fair and Maegan Somersville the Senior Ambassador Program Coordinator and making every year a positive, memorably fun-filled, team experience for all!

With Endless Pride I wish to sincerely thank the ALL The 2014 Sutton Fair Junior Ambassador Participants- Hailey Barns, Emily Cryderman, Maddy Grossi, Deanna Pegg & Grant Williams. YOU ARE ALL FABULOUS !!!
