What Would You Like to Know, Fair and Shows?

The Sutton Agricultural Society is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who continuously put forth their efforts to make the Sutton Fair & Horse Show a success.

The Sutton Agricultural Society has a Board of Directors that is made up of 15 Board members and 5 Executive members.  To follow, there are Intermediate Directors and a Junior Committee, so the Sutton Agricultural Society can involve youth in the community who want to volunteer.

The Sutton Fair & Horse Show offers an array of exhibits from vegetables and field crop, to language and literature.  Community members continue to showcase their photography, culinary arts, flowers, crafts and hobbies to provide a wonderful display of various talents.

The Sutton Agricultural Society has several events for the public’s entertainment pleasure:  the Truck and Tractor Pull, the Demolition Derby, the Ambassador Program, Georgina Idol, the Baby Show, the Midway and the Livestock and Horse Shows.  It is important to keep our events new and exciting at the annual Sutton Fair & Horse Show.  Each year committees try to organize events that may not have been showcased at our fair previously, while still maintaining those ever so popular ones!

The Sutton Agricultural Society is supported by the Ontario Association of Agriculture Societies (OAAS), members, volunteers, sponsors and our local farmers.  The Sutton Agricultural Society always maintains a focus on the Agricultural Industry and its place in the founding of our country and the role this industry plays in our everyday life.  Agriculture being the backbone of our country is why many small country fairs were established, so farmers could exhibit their vegetables, field crops and livestock.  Our fair aspires to continue representing agriculture well into the future.
