District #5 Annual Meeting Saturday, October 29, 2016
The 2016 District #5 Annual Meeting will be hosted by Sutton Agricultural Society (3 Fairpark Lane, Sutton West) on Saturday, October 29, 2016.
Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting being called to order at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be available upon your arrival.
The cost of registration is $30.00 per person. DEADLINE for Registration is Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Please remember that once registrations numbers are confirmed, the registrations cannot be refunded due to the commitment made to the Host Society’s caterer. Please make cheque payable to O.A.A.S. District #5 c/o Ruth Wiggins and mail to 34 Joseph Street, Brampton, ON L6X 1H6. Note: Registration must be paid prior to the meeting unless other arrangements are made.
We will once again have a special program for the Fair Ambassadors including Junior Ambassadors. Please note that your society is responsible for the Ambassadors expenses. The Ambassador program is held upstairs in the building and there is no elevator available.
For those bringing articles for the District #5 Competitions (Quilts, Bread, Posters & Chocolate Chip Cookies), please ensure that the competitor’s name, complete mailing address, telephone number, name of fair and the category in which it won is on the entry tag. Hand and Machine quilts, you will need to include the name of the Quilt. District #5 will be mailing the winners of the competitions their prize money directly.
Question and Answer Period will take place at the end of the meeting.
