  1. Committee will provide paper plates for Classes 100 and 101.
  2. Committee will provide 5 kg containers for kernal grains Class 102.

 

The General Rules of the Sutton Agricultural Society shall apply.

ADDITIONAL RULES:

  1. All exhibits must be grown by exhibitor.
  2. Only one entry per section per class.
  3. The committee reserves the right to refuse any entry or entries.

CLASS 100: VEGETABLES

 

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR CLASS 100:

Vegetables to have open tops trimmed to within 2.5cm or 1 inch with the exception of green onions, which should leave a 15cm or 6 inch top from point of separation.

Stemmed vegetables must have stem on (eg. Cucumbers, squash, beans)

Onions should not be peeled, but remove jagged and dirty outer scales.

Rhubarb full stock (pulled not cut) including 4cm or1 ½” leaf.

Corn to be 1/3 husk removed.

Vegetables are to be displayed on paper plates (provided by committee).

Garlic roots should be trimmed to 1”

To clean dirt from vegetables, please dry brush only.

CLASS 102: FIELD CROPS

The General Rules of the Sutton Agricultural Society shall apply.

 

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR CLASS 102:

  1. Kernel displays are to be brought in 10 kg (22 lb.) BIN RUN samples.
  2. Kernel display can be from 2017 or 2018 crop.
  3. All exhibits are to have under 14% moisture.
  4. Kernels must not be treated.
  5. Hay samples must be equivalent to18 cm (7”) slice from a bale.
  6. Containers will be provided by the Fair Committee.

 

PRIZE MONEY: 1st = $20.00; 2nd = $15.00; 3rd = $10.00; All Others upto and including section 8 = $5.00
